One of the great things about being located in Lubbock is being surrounded by diverse agriculture.  The South Plains is known as one of the highest agriculture production regions in the world.  This gives us the unique opportunity to take portraits that bring the strong agricultural tradition of this area into focus.

Many families who do portraits with us come from agricultural backgrounds and we love to make this part of their sessions.  The reason we love this so much is the team at Savant comes from its own agricultural background.  Both Leslie, photographic artist and owner, and Cody, studio coordinator, have degrees in agricultural communications.  Leslie’s husband, Nick, is a farmer in Lubbock.  Cody grew up raising pigs and was an active member of 4-H and FFA.  For both Leslie and Cody it is very special to get to help bring the passion those in agriculture have for providing sustenance to world forward through great portraits.

The Taylor family certainly has strong ties to agriculture and the Lubbock area.  They are tremendous donors to the College of Agriculture at Texas Tech and greatly respected for all they do for those involved in agriculture.  It was an honor for us to do their family session.
