Many of those attending our Temple Santa Experience in September will be doing so for the first time. With that in mind, Leslie Kitten, photographic artist and owner of Savant Photography, thought it would be a good idea to give you a few tips for making your Santa Experience a great one!
- Be there 15 minutes early. If you would like to change your child into the clothes they are going to wear once you are there to avoid wrinkles, come 30 minutes early.
- Make sure your kids have a full tummy and have had their nap.
- Talk to your children about Santa before bringing the, this will help avoid them being afraid of Santa.
- If your child has any special items they always carry with them, such as a teddy bear, bring them. It will be great for the portraits.
- Have an idea on the number of Christmas cards you would like to order.
- Know the type of products you would like to order. Think about what you will hang in your home and who you will be giving portraits as gifts to.
- Measure the wall space where you plan to hang your portrait. If you know this we can give you a better idea of the size of portrait you need.
- Be prepared for your investment session to last an hour. This may mean bringing extra food for your children or having a game for them to play on your mobile device. We will also do our best to keep them entertained during this time.
If you heed the advice of Leslie your first Santa Experience is bound to be special, drama free one.
