Savant Photography is hosting a summer camp for second through sixth graders to learn the basics of using a digital camera.
The camp will be held June 22nd-26th from 9 a.m. to noon and will give campers the opportunity to better understand how to use their camera, framing, composition and the use of natural light.
“For a young person just getting into photography, this is a great opportunity for them to get comfortable with their camera and be well on their way to being a talented photographer,” Leslie Kitten, owner and photographic artist for Savant Photography, said.
This camp will also feature an afternoon session from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. about making videos with a mobile device. This will include finding great content for a video and editing the video with the Magisto app.
Each session is $150 with an early registration (before June 5th) cost of $250 for both sessions. Children in both sessions may bring a sack lunch and eat at the studio.
Those interested in registering in the camp should contact Cody Trimble at [email protected].
